TL;DR: As of August 10, you can get the OMNIA Q5 Five-in-One Wireless Charging Station for just $83.99 in the Mashable Shop (reg. $120) — a savings of 30%.
The more smart devices you accrue, the more chargers you have to keep at home, at work, maybe even in your luggage.
If you know a techie who’s tired of fighting a tangle of charging cables, a five-in-one charging station might be a considerate gift. That’s where the OMNIA Q5 comes in. This wireless charging station can power five separate devices on its own, or you can split it into two different chargers. Normally, it’s priced at $120, but you can get the OMNIA Q5 for just $83.99 for a limited time.
Charge five devices at once
This Kickstarter-funded charging station can power a multitude of Apple devices in a small space. That even includes your iPad. Here’s how it’s all done.
Three of the Q5’s chargers are wireless. Those support iPhone, Android, AirPods, any series Apple Watch, and a whole slew of other iOS devices. Double check if your device is compatible before purchasing, but there’s a good chance it is. Just keep in mind that you do need to provide the actual charging module for the Apple Watch. The Q5 has a slot to put it, but it can’t power your watch on its own. To connect your tablet, just use the subtle USB port in the back of the power station. There’s even a place to prop up an iPad or other large tablet.
If you’re leaving a few devices behind for the day or just need a small, more mobile charger, just detach the upright charging pad from the OMNIA Q5. Plug it into another cable and a 45W AC adapter, and power up your phone like normal.
A modular charging station for iOS devices
Sometimes the only occasion you need to get a gift for a tech lover is seeing them untangle their chargers one time too many.
