“Take me back to the time when we walked down the aisle / Our whole town came and our mamas cried,” sings Taylor Swift on “Mary, (Oh, My, My),” a throwback gem from her self-titled debut album. Aside from being one of my favorite songs from that era, “Mary” also touches on a question that’s been on people’s minds lately: Who will attend Taylor Swift’s wedding?
The wedding itself is heavily rumored to be at Madison Square Garden over the July 3 weekend. And as the date approaches, still very few things are known. One major morsel of information (if true) is that Stevie Knicks is supposedly performing at the wedding, according to multiple sources as reported in Rolling Stone. Knicks previously talked about Swift and Kelce’s relationship in an interview with the magazine. “She’s in a good place right now, and I think she has a good man,” she said in a 2024 Rolling Stone interview. She added, “I hope they fall deeper and deeper in love and ride off into the sunset. He does his thing and she does her thing, and then they come back together and get married and have babies if she wants that. I just want all of that for her.”
While the guest list has not been confirmed, there has been no shortage of guesses, and some expert-level question evasion from rumored guests such as Jack Antonoff and Antoni Porowski. In a rare exception to the veil of secrecy, Suki Waterhouse recently revealed that she will attend, and is hoping to draw some inspiration for her own upcoming wedding to Robert Pattinson.
So who are the other guests? Aside from Swift and Kelce’s families, there are Kelce’s teammates from the Kansas City Chiefs (like Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, for whom Kelce served as a groomsman), who will more than likely be on the guest list. Andy Reid, coach of the Chiefs, essentially confirmed that he is attending the wedding. When asked if he had received an invitation, he said: “Well, I probably have. You know, I probably have. And if I don’t outgrow my tuxedo before then, I’m going,” he joked.
Of course, there are Swift’s best friends, like Selena Gomez, Abigail Anderson Berard (Swift’s childhood friend, a.k.a. the “redhead named Abigail” in “Fifteen”), Gigi Hadid, Ashley Avignone, the Haim sisters, Zoë Kravitz, Emma Stone, Sabrina Carpenter, and Gracie Abrams, to name a few, who are all expected to attend. Ed Sheeran is also rumored to be performing at the wedding.
Aside from entertainment royalty, it was previously thought that there could be some actual royalty, like Prince William and Kate Middleton. When asked about the Swift-Kelce wedding on a recent radio interview on Heart FM, Prince William replied: “No comment.” He added, “I’m hoping and I’m sure there might be an invitation around, but we’ll see.”
The future king is a noted fan of Swift. He once sang on stage with her and Bon Jovi at a charity gala in 2013. In 2024, he attended the Eras Tour with his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, where he was seen joyously dancing to “Shake It Off,” and took a selfie with Swift and Kelce. However, People reported that the Prince and Princess of Wales will not be at Swift’s wedding.
Not much is known about the high-profile celebration. According to Page Six, the wedding is being held on July 3 in New York City. Though the couple has not confirmed any wedding details publicly, Swift has indicated that she and Kelce plan on having a big wedding. In October 2025, she told Graham Norton that she was going to invite him to the event. He joked, “If you’re inviting me, it’s very big.”
