And just like that…Sarah Jessica Parker returned to her Carrie Bradshaw roots at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival.
Before you get too excited, no, SJP did not wear a tiered tulle tutu or a Galliano newspaper dress, but opted instead for a deeper cut. For the premiere of Bang My Box: The Robin Byrd Story, Parker—one of the film’s producers—chose a sheer, off-white Dôen blouse embellished with lace panels, as well as high contrast black ribbons lining the neck and sleeves.
In true Carrie fashion, Parker wore a black bra underneath her translucent top. The look calls back to a 2002 episode of Sex and the City, in which Carrie pairs a tiered, boho tank top with an clashing black lace bra. While her fictional counterpart styled the look with knee-length shorts, black mesh pumps, a silk scarf tied around her head, and a tennis necklace, SJP took her Tribeca outfit in a different direction.
