Don’t be fooled: it takes a lot of work to look cool and casual. Just ask Kaia Gerber, who opted for an artfully undone outfit for dinner with actor Camila Morrone at Sushi Park last night.
The model’s look appeared effortlessly assembled, as if she knew she’d spend all evening saying, “Oh this? I just threw it on!” The focal point of Gerber’s outfit was a bohemian black lacy blouse, held in place by a single button at her sternum. While the top showed plenty of décolletage and midriff, Gerber came prepared for the possibility of a restaurant air conditioning-induced arctic blast by haphazardly flinging a navy pullover around her neck like a scarf.
On the bottom, she continued her black and navy combo with a pair of straight-legged, low-slung navy trousers and black Repetto ballerina flats. Even Gerber’s accessories felt strategically laidback, with a claw clip clamped onto her purse handle.
With her thoughtful accessories styled with abandon, Kaia Gerber reminds us that looking undone is an art and a science.
