Best Buy’s top anti-Prime Day deals at a glance:
Best Buy is hosting a “Black Friday in July” sale from July 7 to 13. The event directly overlaps with Amazon‘s members-only Prime Day event, which is scheduled for July 8 through 11. Very coincidental timing, I’m sure.
Starting now, new offers go live every day of the sale in Best Buy stores, on its website, and on its mobile app. That includes a rotating “Deal of the Day,” several “Doorbusters” spotlighting popular tech, and some app-exclusive Drops featuring limited-time releases and discounts. Per the fine print, everything is available in limited quantities with no rain checks. Unlike Prime Day, though, Best Buy’s Black Friday in July sale isn’t exclusive members. (My Best Buy Plus and Total subscribers do earn exclusive rewards on certain purchases, but the deals themselves aren’t paywalled.)
Best Buy has traditionally held anti-Prime Day sales in the summer, but this will be the first year its counter-programming lasts a whole week; previously, it was only three days long. It makes sense given Amazon’s own unprecedented decision to extend Prime Day 2025 from two days to four.
