In fact, Collins described how there’s more of a “pared-down, streamlined aesthetic” to Emily’s new wardrobe—although that means “maybe one last print than last season,” rather than a sudden shift in the publicist’s style. Still, there are more trouser suits (she’s “wearing the pants in her relationship with Paris”) and flat shoes, suggesting that the actor’s love of Scandi fashion may be rubbing off on her character.
One of Collins’s favorite looks from season four is the dramatic custom black-and-white striped Harris Reed look seen in the trailer, which is “one of the most arresting things that Emily has worn.” A trip to Rome, meanwhile, will see Cooper adopting a Roman Holiday-inspired look.
While her character’s wardrobe may contain a mismatch of different influences, it’s clear that Collins is very at home in Copenhagen – with the actor describing her love of rye bread, sauna and cold plunging since moving to the Danish capital. Could we also see Emily making a trip to the Nordics in the future? Watch this space.
