“I just can’t concentrate in flats,” Victoria Beckham famously said on Good Morning Britain in 2008. Since then, she’s consistently favored vertiginous heels, from Manolo Blahnik’s classic BB pumps and knee-high Tom Ford peep-toe leather boots to myriad towering styles from her own namesake label. Fast forward to today, and–even with one injured foot–Beckham’s dedication to wearing sky-high footwear is unrivalled.
Ahead of her runway show at Paris Fashion Week, the former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer was spotted in her version of a pared-back ensemble while out on the cobblestone streets of the French capital. She wore an olive field jacket from her own brand with black Balenciaga leggings and black square-frame shades. As for the shoes? On one foot, she had a black medical boot, but on the other, in classic VB style, she wore an ultra-sleek black and clear perspex Alaïa Le Cœur mule (yes, a singular mule).

Despite her injury, Beckham’s sartorial flair was undimmed, with her security team carrying her black Hermès Kelly bag in the background. Even with a medical boot on one foot, VB remains our committed fashion queen.
