It’s not the only striking fashion moment from the Dune ensemble this month. A few weeks back, the cast made a red carpet stop in Mexico City, where Zendaya and Florence Pugh both opted for sleek, minimal looks in unexpected textures.
Chalamet more than held his own alongside them in a pristine Prada tailoring; The actor tucked his buttoned-up gray jacket into his dress pants, then double-belted them with a big Prada logo buckle. He also forwent a classic dress shirt in favor of a modern collarless style, and rolled up his jacket sleeves to reveal the top underneath. His shoes were another focal point: heeled boots—a Chalamet favorite and a smart alternative to a classic oxford.

Earlier in the month, meanwhile, Zendaya gave an emerging London-based designer a splashy red carpet debut in Mexico City; At the same event, Florence Pugh sparkled in a futuristic dress from Torishéju. Chalamet and Butler, meanwhile, have been slipping into contemporary dressy looks. Chalamet has also worn a leather cowl-neck top from Hermès, while Butler has donned a gray collarless suit.
The film may be action-packed, but we’d argue that the step and repeats are an even bigger thrill. And to that we say: Keep ’em coming.
