Best PS5 Cyber Monday deals

Sony PS5 Spider-Man 2 bundle

Call of Duty Modern Warfare III PS5 bundle

Sony PS5 disk console

Cyber Monday is here and that means it’s time to stock up on any and all video game consoles you want but don’t already have. Yes, that includes the PlayStation 5.

There’s good news and bad news on that front: The PS5 is technically on sale for Cyber Monday, but the deals aren’t mind-blowing. In fact, you won’t be saving all that much money on the console itself; rather, you’ll save money on a bundled game to go along with the console. But hey, at least one of the bundled games is one of the best games of the year!

Here are the PS5 console deals for Cyber Monday.

Best PS5 deal for superhero fans

Why we like it

There are a couple of reasons to like this deal. First, you get a brand new PS5 Slim console, which Sony just launched this holiday season. If you hop on this, you can officially say you have a slightly better PS5 than all your friends who got one at launch. Second, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is genuinely awesome and is one of the best video games of 2023. Obviously fans of superhero media don’t need to think twice about this, but even if you’re experiencing MCU fatigue, this game is good enough to make that not matter.

Best PS5 deal for shooter fans

Why we like it

This one is a no-brainer if you like Call of Duty. It’s the same PS5 model as the Spider-Man 2 deal, but instead of Spider-Man 2, you get the newest game in the vaunted and unkillable shooter franchise, Modern Warfare III. No, not the Modern Warfare 3 that came out in 2011; this is a brand new game that just so happens to have some of the same characters and an almost identical title. Everything old is new again.

Best deal if you just want a PS5

Why we like it

This one admittedly isn’t the most enticing deal in the world, but it’s technically a deal nonetheless. The original PS5 model from 2020 is a bit bigger and bulkier than the ones from the other two deals on this list, but it still plays games just the same. And for $449, it’s $50 cheaper than it was at launch three years ago. Yes, it’s an open-box special, but as long as the console works, it doesn’t really matter. After all, you just want a PS5, right?
