Best gaming monitor deal: $400 off 32-inch 4K OLED LG UltraGear

TL;DR: Amazon has the LG 32-inch UltraGear 4K OLED gaming monitor (the 32GX850A-B model) on sale for $791.68, down from its list price of $1,299.99. That saves you $508.31 on a glossy 4K OLED display with Dual Mode 165Hz/330Hz refresh rates and a lightning-fast 0.03ms response time.

OLED monitors can make a huge difference to your gaming setup, but they can also wipe out a giant chunk of your upgrade budget. Thankfully, Amazon has cut the price of one of LG’s 32-inch UltraGear models back under $800.

As of June 1, Amazon knocked the price of the 32-inch UltraGear 4K OLED gaming monitor down to  $791.68, a $508.31 discount from its usual $1,299.99 list price. With that 39% cut, you’re paying much less for a display that’s built for both cinematic single-player games and seriously fast competitive play.

The 32-inch glossy OLED panel with 4K UHD resolution should deliver a much sharper, richer look for games, movies, and everyday desktop use. What’s more, LG promises this model uses Micro Lens Array+ technology, helping deliver brighter OLED performance than previous UltraGear OLED gaming displays.

Plus, display supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, up to 98.5% DCI-P3 color coverage, and a 1.5M:1 contrast ratio, so darker scenes should look especially strong. That’s handy whether you’re creeping through any of Crimson Desert’s more dimly lit dungeons or watching Netflix films between gaming sessions.

In terms of technical performance, you can play at 4K up to 165Hz for maximum detail, then switch to Full HD at up to 330Hz in Dual Mode when faster reactions matter more. Add in the 0.03ms response time, NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and you’ll be all set for any kind of fast-paced game — be it Fortnite, League of Legends, or a few rounds of Rocket League.

If you’re open to a smaller monitor to save a bit, the 27-inch LG UltraGear is also $400. From a different brand, however, you can grab the 34-inch QD-OLED ASUS ROG Strix at over $300 off on sale, as well.
