Rosalía may be in the throes of her Lux tour, but she’s found some time away from her celestial serenading and intense, country-hopping schedule to join Team Bob. Bienvenida, Rosalía!
The Spanish musician debuted a fresh “clavi-cut,” courtesy of London-based hairstylist Larry King, on Friday (May 8) while out and about in Seville, Spain. The lob, which brushes her collarbones, is a flattering choice for any face shape—and on Rosalía, it feels soft and sensual. For the outing, she styled her new hairdo loose with a middle part, highlighting her natural texture. The rest of her look was similarly relaxed, wearing a red scoop-neck midi dress and black, strappy, studded Miu Miu ballet flats.
Her appearance back in her home country comes just days after concluding the European string of shows at the O2 Arena in London. Now, just under a month before she kicks off the North American leg in Miami, it feels like the perfect time for a summery refresh.

It’s also a sharp stylistic departure for the singer. Throughout most of her time promoting her fourth studio album, Lux, she’s worn almost waist-length locks with a bleach-blonde halo—an angelic look originally conceptualized by late hairstylist Jesus Guerrero and maintained by her go-to Evanie Frausto.
While some celebrities have returned to ultra-long lengths (bob devotee Hailey Bieber, included), there remains an allegiance to the crop: Zendaya, Katie Holmes, Gracie Abrams, and Selena Gomez among them.
Thanks to her thick hair and naturally wavy texture, Rosalía’s collarbone-length chop looks particularly full-bodied and voluminous. But the great thing about a lob? It suits all hair types: It’s perfect for fine hair that needs some added shape, dimension, and a thicker appearance, while a layered, textured, or angled lob cut helps to reduce bulk while managing volume.
