Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Revealed Her New Brand Mémoire with an Intimate Upper East Side Dinner Party

For Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, memories are the ultimate luxury. And such is the ethos behind Mémoire, her first venture in the home and design space, and one she has been quietly building for some time. Ahead of the brand’s official launch on May 12, the supermodel hosted an intimate dinner celebration for friends and collaborators at the Upper East Side home of interior designer Alyssa Kapito.

The gathering was as carefully curated as the line itself, with guests including Daniel Lee of Burberry—who is also dressing Huntington-Whiteley for tonight’s Met Gala—alongside Ashley Graham, Imaan Hammam, Dree Hemingway, and Phoebe Tonkin. 

The evening began with a cocktail hour at 7 p.m. Friends stepped into Kapito’s serene and polished abode, which was bathed in soft evening light. It was the ideal setting to unveil the world of Mémoire, with pieces from the yet-to-launch collection interspersed among Kapito’s own unique furnishings. “Stylistically, we’re very aligned,” Kapito told Vogue. “We both appreciate antiques, but in a way that feels fresh—you can collect pieces that feel stale, or you can make them cool. Rosie is very cool.”

Home for Rosie means something entirely different these days. “I’m at a time in my life where being at home is really special,” the entrepreneur shared. And motherhood has shifted the way she holds onto certain objects—like the jewelry gifted to her by her partner Jason Statham, the Tiffany hairbrush she chose for her daughter, and the handwritten letters from her own mom when she passed her exams. “When I think about what I would save in a fire, it would be those things.”
