Fresh off shooting an Ugg campaign in Paris, SJP is already back on the streets of New York, where she is embracing the forthcoming spring—even if it is still technically kind of chilly. The actor opted for a grayscale palette on Monday morning, wearing a light bluish-gray long-sleeved tee underneath a black knee-length coat.

But what caught our eye was Parker’s pants situation: a pair of skinny gray jeans, cuffed once to the calf to make a DIY pair of capris. It’s a look—and general spirit of inventiveness—that we can imagine Carrie Bradshaw getting behind. She wore her makeshift pedal pushers with a pair of black heeled ankle boots, which left a sliver of lower calf exposed to the elements.
