In the spotlight today: Meet New York-based Deborah Kugler, a self-professed hustler-entrepreneur who is a jack of all trades. Let’s learn more…
Full name/pronouns: Deborah Kugler (she/her)
Location: New York
Vogue Club member since: 2022
Instagram handle: @casaofficiale and @namedafteraqueenbee
My signature look: If I’m not in off-duty mode wearing Sporty & Rich, I usually pull together a modern Oxford dress shirt, a pencil-cut midi skirt, low kitten heels, a classic belt with gold hardware, a structured handbag, multiple mixed metal rings, and my men’s Rolex.
My favorite designers:
For legacy brands, I love Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, and Chanel. For return-to-work, it’s Hedi Slimane, Jacquemus, and Roland Mouret. For red carpet: Zuhair Murad, Reem Acra, and Elie Saab. And for total feminine fun, it has to be Zimmerman and Alice McCall.
On my fashion wish list: Any Delvaux Briilant leather bag, The Vampire’s Wife black carry-on travel case (because I travel for both business and pleasure), the Victoria Beckham watch-strap-detail belt, the ivory Balmain double-breasted tweed blazer, Manolo Blahnik’s embellished grosgrain mules, and Roland Mouret’s Benford Cutout two-tone jumpsuit (saw it in the show Younger, and I couldn’t have searched Google faster to find it).
A fun fact about me: I am a low-key but high-maintenance lady—if there’s such a thing! I was born a serial hustler-entrepreneur who now heads the regional design division of a CPG juggernaut while running a luxury destination event-planning and design studio with partners in Italy, France, and Dubai.
