Every year, the Cannes Film Festival may cause fashion fans to get excited for a sea of spellbinding gowns (whether new couture or vintage frocks)âbut when it comes to the mixture of Hollywoodâs leading gents at the affair, classic suits and tuxedos still reign supreme. This year, the Cannes red carpet already has a number of leading actors on the scene. In fact, only halfway through, and it is already proving to be a full-on hunk summit: Fan favorites like Pedro Pascal, Robert Pattinson, and Austin Butler are all putting their best fashions forward for the event. Sure, the men are hot, but the looks have been even hotter.
Highlights thus far? Original Twilight hottie Pattinson has hit the photo calls and carpets for his new film Die, My Love co-starring Jennifer Lawrence. At the filmâs premiere, he wore a classic Dior tuxedo with the customary lapels, bow-tie, and derby shoes. For the photo call, he went a little more casual, in a butter-yellow tee layered under a dress shirt and suede jacketâthe perfect take on disheveled-chic.
Other leading gents have opted to show some skin during Cannes. Just yesterday, for a photo call for Eddington, Pascal posed for Cannes photographers in a sleeveless black top that exposed his muscles. (Someone doesnât skip arm day.) By his side, Butler chose a classic dress shirt that was unbuttoned just rightâand tucked into a slick pair of pleated trousers.
Earlier today, meanwhile, Alexander Skarsgard hit the Pillion photo call in the horniest look of Cannes yet: He sported a vintage tee (emblazoned with a boot stepping on someoneâs face!) with a pair of Loewe leather pants and biker boots, something you would expect to see at, I donât know, a dive bar versus Cannes. But it was hotâof course, styled by Harry Lambertâand totally worked. The good news is: We have a week left of Cannes, meaning (hopefully) there is many more hunky fashion moments to come. Buckle up.
Below, more hunks at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
